OPERATION BANDANAS
Providing Psalm 91 Bandanas to Our Deployed Military
How Can You Help?
1. 1.
Visit our website,
www.operationbandanas.org and become inspired to give by
reading notes from Chaplains and soldiers about how much the
bandanas have meant to them.
2. 2.
Donate. They sacrifice so much for us, surely we can
sacrifice and provide bandanas to them. It will cost us something,
but not near the cost that is continuously being paid by our
soldiers to ensure our freedom here and abroad. Just think if
everyone in your church gave just $3.00 for a bandana how many
soldiers we could cover and bless!
3. 3.
Involve/mobilize your church as the body of Christ in
providing these for our troops. If you live in a military community
or have a National Guard unit deploying, provide the bandanas for a
particular Battalion about to deploy. You can get the name of a
Chaplain that your church could bless with a gift of Psalm 91
bandanas to distribute to his troops. Chaplains are continuously
asking for them and the demand far exceeds OpBan’s supply.
4. 4.
Spread the word about this mission to others in your community, ie,
churches, organizations, individuals. Send them to our website.
Email address books are a great way to get the word out.
5. 5.
Promote
OpBan for a period of time at your church, then take up an offering
to provide Psalm 91 bandanas.
6. 6.
Promote and plan a Patriotic event , ie Memorial Day, July 4th,
Veterans Day and give to Operation Bandanas in honor of and in
memory of those who are have served and sacrificed.
7. 7.
Youth,
children, Sunday school/Bible classes, Vacation Bible Schools,
Missions Organizations, Men’s and Women’s Ministries, etc., can
adopt OpBan as a project.
8. 8.
Promote at Christian schools as a fundraiser. A great reminder to
our young people of sacrifices being made on their behalf.
9. 9.
Think beyond just getting them for one soldier. Send extra bandanas
to their unit, Platoon, Company. Many soldiers would not receive a
Psalm 91 bandana as a gift of encouragement and inspiration if not
for Christians assuring they receive them.
10. 10.
Be an ongoing/monthly donor. As long as we have troops deployed, we
need to know that they will be coverd and blessed with God’s words
of Psalm 91.
PRAY for our mission of reminding our incredible young men and
women in uniform of God’s presence with them and His protection over
them through the Psalm 91 bandana.
As
much as our soldiers enjoy goodies boxes of perishable snacks and
items as a gift of love and appreciation, OpBan sends a love gift of
imperishable food that feeds the soul. Partner with us, as the
body of Christ, providing Psalm 91 bandanas to our incredible,
courageous young men and women in uniform.
