Friends:
Join in the joy of
celebrating that 101,799 Psalm 91 bandanas have been provided
through Operation Bandanas (that’s YOU!) to our incredible Soldiers,
Sailors, Airmen and Marines as of December 31, 2009! I had no idea
when God called me to start sending out the bandanas in November
2006, that I would be entering 2010 with this ministry, much less be
responsible for 100,000 bandanas sent out! The surge is on and we
have MANY requests for the bandanas and many more troops to cover
and bless with Psalm 91 bandanas. Let’s keep up the good work, and
let’s meet those requests!
Nothing is impossible under
God's hand!
I want to share a moving
letter I received from a deployed Soldier that speaks to the impact
our ministry is having. His words leave no doubt that your
contributions for bandanas are valued beyond measure.
“I wanted to write and give you some
feedback on your Operation Bandanas. I’m not sure how often you
hear from soldiers overseas that have received your bandanas, but I
felt it was important you know the impact they have on the troops.
I recently made it in country and was handed one and couldn’t wait
to sit down to write my thanks. Soldiers all have little items we
keep with us when conducting operations. I have a small American
flag, a small toy my kids gave me and now my Psalm 91 bandana. I
appreciate the service you all are doing and it’s churches and
citizens such as you that lift our spirits and help us remember how
much people do care about us. Sometimes this is a thankless job but
you certainly lifted my spirits and my family’s now that they know I
have this.
