Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.  He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge.  His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

Psalm 91:3-4

Friends:

Join in the joy of celebrating that 104,438 Psalm 91 bandanas have been provided through Operation Bandanas (that’s YOU!) to our incredible Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines as of February 22, 2010!  I had no idea when God called me to start sending out the bandanas in November 2006, that I would be entering 2010 with this ministry, much less be responsible for 100,000 bandanas sent out!  The surge is on and we have MANY requests for the bandanas and many more troops to cover and bless with Psalm 91 bandanas.  Let’s keep up the good work, and let’s meet those requests!

Nothing is impossible under God's hand!

Our Georgia Chapter of Operation Bandanas under the steadfast leadership of Don Landrum has received a number of heartfelt thank you's that we have posted on the Thank You's page.

We continue to receive wonderful letters and emails of thanks from the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, and others who have received the Psalm 91 bandanas.  I never cease to be humbled and touched by how grateful they are for this small token of our love and prayers for their safety.  Sometimes amazing stories accompany their thanks.  Please be sure to read the note posted under What's New from Chaplain Gilliam on January 14th.

Likewise, the thank you notes we receive from family members and friends of those deployed are equally moving.  Please read the one from Penny Noel, mother of Lt Michael Noel on the Thank You's page.

May God make His presence known to them and continue to keep them under the shelter of His wings.

Mary Gray
